Hello, fellow Sourdough enthusiast,
This is a class tailored for beginner level and no previous experience is needed.
In this class you will:
✔ learn how to feed and refresh your starter
✔ gain an understanding and knowledge about sourdough and how to work with it
✔ learn about different flours, ingredients and techniques
✔ learn a specific way to knead the dough and prepare classical Italian focaccia and ciabatta
✔ shape and baked ciabatta
✔ shape and bake fougasse
We will be answering all your questions and giving you lots of handy tips to work with sourdough.
We will provide:
All the needed ingredients as well as light lunch, barista coffee and selection of organic tea and refreshments.
You will need to bring a bag to take home your bakes and the Sourdough starter.
A big smile is essential.
The Class will start at 9 am promptly, so make sure you check the traffic and directions before you head to the class. We will be aiming to finish between 3-4 pm.
We are holding our classes in a professional kitchen in a beautiful location in West Sussex.
It is a very cosy and welcoming space where we can get together and bake some amazing Sourdough.
The group is of only 4 people which will allow almost one to one lesson and very hands-on experience! It will be a day full of delicious bakes, lots of laughter in a very relaxed and friendly atmosphere.
